Lotte Fine Chemical announced on Aug. 30 that its Sustainability Management Report, published in June this year, has received simultaneous recognition for the third consecutive year at the “2023 ARC Awards” and the “2023 LACP Vision Awards.”
The ARC Awards is an annual global competition for sustainability reports organized by MerComm, a specialized corporate communication evaluation agency based in the United States. It is considered one of the world’s top three awards in the field of reports and promotional materials.
Lotte Fine Chemical achieved a remarkable honor at the ARC Awards by winning in a total of three categories, including the Gold Award in the Annual Sustainability Report section.
Furthermore, Lotte Fine Chemical not only received the Platinum Award in the Sustainability Report Chemicals category at the LACP Vision Awards organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), but also secured the 33rd position in the “Top 100 Reports” for 2023.
In particular, Lotte Fine Chemical has introduced a groundbreaking initiative in its latest Sustainability Management Report. The “Sustainable Management QR Donation Campaign” is a first-of-its-kind effort aimed at ensuring that the act of reading the report leads to concrete actions in the realm of ESG. This campaign is designed to seamlessly connect readership with ESG practices and charitable participation.
In addition, the latest report includes details on initiatives, such as the establishment of clean hydrogen and ammonia projects and the expansion of clean technology adoption, in order to create a sustainable workplace.
